When I was asked to speak at a local tech event, I wanted to present something more than code. I wanted to show all those things that make a website popular (or unpopular) that weren't measured by hard-coded technology.
So I stood up in front of 30+ tech professionals (including the likes of Food Hub and BT) and showed them a window into the design and brand world. And they were immediately hooked. The standing ovation I received that night was incredibly heartfelt.
This talk started life as a small local talk to help share information with local professionals, it had since been considered as a national TED talk by a TED X Staffordshire University collaboration.
